Noun. A totally made-up (but genius) collective noun that’s reassigned to a completely different group—usually for maximum comedic or poetic effect. Think calling a group of psychologists a gaggle, or a bunch of lawyers a murder. It hits different, and that’s the point. Etymology: From fancy Greek words meaning “a different kind of group.” Basically, it’s when your inner word-nerd meets your inner stand-up comic.
