Originating in the 1974 cinematic masterpiece The Black Godfather. Don Chastain, in his brilliant role as druglord Tony Burton, tells Lt. Joe Sterling (Duncan McLeod) that "it's time to teach that spoot the facts of life about my territory." Of course, the 'spoot' he is speaking of is none other than the immaculate actor Rod Perry, starring as J.J., who is black. Spoot is obviously a term for any black person on the planet, quite possibly derogatory.
