The term used by Polytechnic students in Singapore to define the loud, obnoxious, shameless, and boldness actions and mannerisms of Republic Polytechnic (RP) students. Whilst usually used in a negative way, it can sometimes also be used to refer to the pro-activeness and braveness that most Republic Polytechnic (RP) students have as compared to other Polytechnic students. Whilst the reason behind this trait being common amongst most if not all Republic Polytechnic (RP) students remains unconfirmed, many think that this trait derives from Republic Polytechnic's (RP) unique curriculum as compared to other Polytechnics in Singapore, where it is not out of the ordinary to have 1 or 2 presentations every single lesson, and additionally, because such a big part of the grading component is proactiveness when it comes to self-directed learning and collaborative work.
