The name of the Magyar Conquerors. It entered Romanaian from the Cuman Bozgurt which is the same as Bashkurt/ Bashkir which were nomads which is why nowadays the word is mostly used with the meaning of "stateless" and as a derogatory. The Hungarians hate it not so much because of the stateless bit but because this is an attack on their claim of being the descendants of Attila's Huns. The stateless bit is just the cherry on top.
