An Individual who has an obsession, fascination and/or fetish for the Emergency Medical Services (including Fire & Rescue).

Ambosexuals can suffer from 'Hero Complex' cognitive delusions, Delusions of Grandiosity among peers and the general public, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. In some case, Ambosexuals pursue Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine for morbid curiosity, sexual gratification and other sinister fantasies.

-The purchase of expensive medical and rescue equipment for display purposes only. -The purchase or procurement (legal or otherwise) of official emergency services equipment (such as badges and uniforms). -Regular conversation pertaining to the emergency medical services, regardless of social setting. -Pre-hospital emergency care social media presence. -Ideation of commanding officers, disdain towards peers. -Poor understanding of their clinical level's scope of practice, poor bedside manner, poor performance of skills, high death toll.
