Laufey Lín Bing Jónsdóttir (Laufey pronounced as Lay-Vay) Is an Icelandic jazz singer and musician known mainly for her viral song ‘From The Start’ that made her quickly rise in fame. Laufey got her grasp of music when she first begun learning the piano at the age of four and the cello at the age of eight. On and off Laufey would move from Washington D.C (the capital of The United States of America) to Reykjavik (Iceland). Laufey is a very sweet person on and off screen and has been seen being extremely polite to her fans. Laufey is a very patient person and enjoys each and every one of her fans individually! Laufey was also a finalist in the 2014 edition of ‘Ísland Got Talent’ (Iceland’s got talent) at the young age of 14 years old! Laufey’s debut EP: Typical of Me was released in 2021 in which the following year she released her debut album: ‘Everything I Know About Love’ (2022) And shortly, Laufey won a Grammy for the ‘Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album’ on the 66th Annual Grammy Awards (2024)
