“Manager In Name Only” a type of manager who couldn’t lead people out of a wet paper bag but have a lot of arrogance while pretending they can. A MINO can be a woman but typically they are beta male managers who wish they were Alphas. They’re the managers who will order you around when you’re already working but stand there and chat with the employees who don’t do anything. They’re also the ones who complain all the time and become a hater when an employee who actually works takes initiative on a project. Don’t you dare make them look bad by having a good work ethic. You will be a slacker like them or pay dearly with passive aggressiveness, belittling, nitpicking and flat out ignoring when you need them for a job only they can do. They insist on throwing around their dominance and are full of ego being sure to let everyone know how in charge they are, especially once the actual Alpha manger leaves. They also don’t like to make decisions out of fear of making the wrong one and their imagined perfection being tainted. So don’t try getting an answer on anything or if they do give you an answer it’s with a whole lot of arrogant energy and the answer is usually wrong. They’re even the type to take sales from their subordinates because their bitches and terrible humans and also flair what little work they do like a peacock flaunting its tale. They are truly at their core, spineless weak, bully’s and look out if you’re not because they deem you a threat to their weak existence.
