A newer word used in gaming to describe a game that has micro-transactions that are not pay to win but are "pay if not patient" - meaning, you can get everything in the game for free if you just play the game as is but if you want to get a temporary head start than you have that option to pay. (Where as pay to win means there are micro-transactions for content that you can only get by paying real money for, to have an advantage and can not earn that content for free).
