Vanillius (va-ne-le-yus) Adjective 1. Of or pertaining to the unmodified, original state of Minecraft gameplay; strictly adhering to the game's default settings and features without the addition of mods, plugins, or other external modifications. Example: "This server is very Vanillius," meaning that the Minecraft server has never used anything besides the original, unaltered version of the game. Two-person example: Alex: "Hey, have you checked out the new Minecraft server John set up?" Taylor: "Yeah, I did! It's completely Vanillius." Alex: "Really? No mods or plugins at all?" Taylor: "None whatsoever. John wanted to keep it as pure and original as possible." Alex: "That's awesome. I love playing Minecraft in its Vanillius form. It feels more challenging and nostalgic." Taylor: "Exactly! It's a nice break from all the modded servers out there." Etymology: Derived from the term "vanilla," which in gaming refers to the basic, unaltered version of a game.
