Kaptonification (noun): The process of wrapping an object either completely or partially with Kapton tape, or the application of a liberal amount of Kapton tape to an object. This technique is often used in electrical engineering and aerospace industries for insulation and protection due to Kapton tape’s durability and thermal stability.
