that one guy from over the garden wall who got tricked by the beast into thinking his daughter was dead and her soul was in a lantern (the beasts soul was actually in it), but then some kid figured out how dumb that was so he killed the beast he also didnt realize that all this time he was (technically) killing people because the trees he cut down to fuel the lantern were people
