A very effeminate, breathy, high-pitched and childlike vocal style adopted by grown women prominently from an extreme evangelical Christian background. Not to be confused with a natural accent as it's a technique learned by adult women to express a very submissive tone, mainly towards their male companion. It's a signal towards men around them that they know, like their children, they aren't at all equal in the family dynamic. So she relinquishes away most of the responsibilities and decision-making to their other half of the married relationship. Leaving cooking, cleaning, and child-rearing traditionally being the only duties to ever focus on. Famously heard in evangelical Christian circles, as well as the tradwife fad.
