PDP "Public Display of Possession"is an extreme and potentially toxic form of PDA (Public Display of Affection). Typically feels like one or both partners are staking their claim on the other and purposely demanding their attention with love bombing behavior. Basically, any extreme physical contact (hugging, kissing, holding hands, groping, etc.) interactions (except for sex of any kind) in public. This extreme form of PDA usually occurs when a couple can't keep their eyes, hands, or lips off of each other in a group setting with other friends. Typically this renders both partner incapable of being active participants in conversation with the friend group. One partner will attempt to have a conversation with someone else and the other partner will capture their attention with neck kisses and rubs until they are exclusively staring and focused completely on each other again.
