Psychic Junkies hop from psychic to psychic, tarot reader to tarot reader, astrologer to astrologer, and fortune teller to fortune teller seeking to hear exactly what they want to hear (a confirmation bias). They waste their money to get an endorphin rush without taking responsibility for their own lives. The readings they get rarely help them with the higher purpose of their soul journey, which is why they keep coming back to the same readers. Term coined by Myret M. Bulgin during her first draft of an unpublished manuscript called Psychic Junkie that won her Nanowrimo in 2021.
