Exotic term referring to someone who 1. can't solve the easiest tasks or only with unreasonably huge effort or with constant help. 2. commits himself to something absolutely useless or doesn't even have a goal in life. 3. is a complete idiot beyond saving. 4. someone who is smart enough to spend time with trying to bend a banana straight. (although this use is the least frequent) If someone is referred to as bananenbieger, it's usually meant as the first 3 points combined.
