Strong and courageous people and their actions are described through male metaphors. Often the phrase “they have balls” or “that took some balls”, or “ that was ballsy” continues to relegate compliments based on male anatomy. Having “ cahones” in spanish propagates the same illusion. I wish to introduce the word “clit-tonays” to describe the amazing courage, strength, and resilience of women and their actions. For example, “ Boy, does she have clit-tonays”, “ Wow, that took some clit-tonays”. Female anatomy is the most astonishing, miraculous, and life-affirming biology on earth. Correct pronunciation of clit-tonays is very crucial. CLIT-TONE-AYS. This is a 3-syllable word. Please emphasize each of the “t”s. Thank you.
