A unisex name meaning 'God's chosen'. The name is typically used to describe a noble, compassionate, yet well spoken and rational-thinking person. The name embodies the virtues and values a disciple of God would possess, which granted its main definition being 'God's favorite' or 'chosen by God'. The name also used to mean 'flawed by perfection' but was often made as a tool of mockery when the person of that name does not live up to its definition. So it was changed 50 years later because being chosen by God allowed both perfection and imperfection in ones character. The name in our modern present is no longer used often, but still retains its definition of a kind-hearted and elegant person. The person who has this name will often be viewed as reliable, responsible, and is perfectly flawed, and whether they live up to such views, people named eyfher will always own a heart of kindness.
