A word associated with people, usually Indians who are obsessed over getting admission into IIT CS (Computer Science Branch), typically from the more prestigious IIT's like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi etc. These people have often little to no interest in Computer Science or Software, but obsess over getting a degree and job in it only because of the status and money that comes with it and also because of Societal, Family and Peer Pressure and Standards. The Money is usually referred to as a "Package" i.e. an annual salary which is usually high if you graduate from these major institutions. Although CStards imagine them getting a good package, they never think more of the future, except a few exceptions who might think about "investing" in the future, which is a vague term in itself. Can also be used for non-Indians who are generally over-obsessed with Computer Science, AI etc. Without having much knowledge of it. Other names include Softwaretard, Comptard and AI-tard.
