Furry¹ Adjective Referring to something that contains fur on its surface. Furry ² Noun Referring to media revolving around or containing a character or themes that are based around the concept of an animal besides a human showing unusual levels of traits that are pertaining to humanity as a whole, and vice versa. (Humans showing animalistic traits or fulfilling animalistic roles). It can also refer to fan-made media that is based on non-furry (or largely non-furry) media with the purpose of making it more furry centric, or containing more furry elements. Furry ³ Noun (plural: furries) A furry is a fictional entity whom shows traits characteristic of a human combined with a animal (i.e were-animals, or half human half animal) Furry⁴ Noun (plural: furries) A person who is a part of the furry fandom, consumes media surrounding furries (see 2nd example), produces furry media, or takes the role of (or cosplays) a furry character (see 3rd example). Furry fandom⁵Noun The furry fandom is a large community on the internet who occupy forums and groups revolving around furry media (see 2nd example), furry characters or character creation (see 3rd example), or generally groups containing large amounts of furries (see 4th example) on the internet. They are well known for forming events such as conventions, and large cosplay events for popular furry characters.
