A male person that serves females some fast food for the soul through quick validation, like compliments, flirting, and physical affection, but is not considered as someone for a healthy long-term relationship. Usually, this male is easy to attract and often found standing in a field of red flags. Just as excessive fast food consumption can have negative health effects, getting involved with a "McDick" can lead to heart disease, high blood pressure, a negative self-image, depression, mood disorders, and a shortened lifespan. Furthermore, getting involved with a "McDick" can have a paradoxical impact on undermining traditional patriarchal constructs. While it takes advantage of the existing patriarchal framework, it also compounds the challenge of deconstructing the deeply ingrained patterns associated with the "male gaze" — the tendency of media and society to perceive the world from a heterosexual male standpoint, often objectifying and sexualizing women.
