Abrahamic Definition: In Islam, Judaism, and Christianity, it is believed that an entity that calls himself "God" created the universe and everything in it, and that he is omnipotent and omniscient. Christians specifically believe that he appeared on earth as a human being named Jesus, also known as the "Incarnation". He is also believed by Christians to be the Messiah. Jews believe that Jesus was not the Messiah, and that the real one will eventually arrive on earth. General Definition: Any powerful or omnipotent/omniscient being in mythology. Religions can vary from being monotheistic (Christianity, Islam, judaism, etc.), and polytheistic (Hindu, Egyptian, etc.).
