A derivation of ‘oner’ - a term that describes the coverage of an entire scene with one shot or take. A ‘Deufemia Oner’ describes a shot that covers an entire scene in one shot or take, plus one piece of extra coverage after the camera has cut. Coined for Canadian tv and film director Marco Deufemia’s use of the phrase ‘oner plus coverage’. A oner plus coverage is not a oner. It’s a Deufemia Oner.
