1. A type of bullying that occurs when one assigns an inaccurate, negative label to another person's intentions or behavior without complete or accurate understanding of the situation. 2. The abuse inflicted when one inaccurately applies a derogatory label to another person's intentions or behavior with the goal of appearing morally or intellectually superior. 3. A category of ad hominem fallacy in which doubt is unfairly cast upon another person by the use of negative label. 4. A genre of arrogant, ignorant, laziness in which one is unwilling to learn the nuance required to engage intelligently, so a label is weaponized for presumed rhetorical gain.
