anaur is a term used in the Philippines, primarily by adolescents as a substitution of the interrogative pronoun "ano" (lit. what). Its origins can be traced to the usage of "naur" instead of "no" as a take on how Australians apparently pronounce the word. With that said, the 'no' in "ano" can be replaced by 'naur' to yield "anaur"
