N. (DEE-troy-tif-a-KAY-shun):A degenerative process effecting many great American cities. Derived from the name of the first example of this degeneration, Detroit, which went from apopulation of over 1.6 million people in the 1960's to a population of 639,000 just 60 years later. Detroitification is a general process that can happen in any city where people get too comfortable and become a Democrat-only run city which leads to corruption and then an exodus of the productive class that ,in turn, leads to an even higher ratio of unproductive to productive citizens causing burden to pay for public services to fall on even less productive people until there is nothing left and reality sets in. Modern examples of Detroitification are: San Fransisco, Seattle.
