Thought experiment: there are two people in a hypothetical scenario Person X has the privilege of knowing how to swim and person Y has the underprivileged circumstance of not knowing how to swim

Person Y had tried countless times to swim as a child and in this hypothetical we assume that it may have likely been impossible for person Y to have ever learned how to swim without being taught by another human being (whether said human being is family, friend, community member, or a paid instructor)

- Person Y is in the water drowning, while Person X is not in the water

- Person X has three options: A,B,C

- Option A: To act in some way that causes person Y to drown less definitely

- Option B: To do nothing

- Option C: To act in some way that causes Person Y to drown more definitely
