It's Capital (& largest city) is Yellowknife canada . There is also a northwest territory in Australia Not to be confused with the Canadian counter part As canada has providnces while Australia has states . The Northwest Territories is the only jurisdiction in North America to issue a non rectangular standard license plate. Instead, the territory issues a polar bear shaped license plate.
