An omniwheel is a type of wheel that has small rollers or wheels attached to its circumference at right angles to the main wheel. The rollers allow the wheel to move in any direction, including sideways, without changing the direction of rotation of the main wheel. Omniwheels are often used in robotics, as they allow for smooth and precise movement in tight spaces, as well as increased maneuverability and versatility.
