A type of brag or status signaling behavior whereby someone highlights something that is generally shameful or embarrassing. Can include things like failures (a failure resume), childhood hardship, poverty, illness or imperfect physical conditions, etc. This type of brag is generally shunned or punished by audiences generally UNLESS the braggart is very high in status - in which case its often rewarded.
