A wired console gaming peripheral shaped like a gun that was powered by the console. It uses light detection, on the NES, when you pull the trigger, the screen goes black and the target became white square. However, on the Sega Master System and beyond, pulling the trigger causes to flash the screen entirely in solid white. Sadly, retro lightguns cannot work on LCD screens, unless we have the Sinden Lightgun, a camera-based lightgun gaming peripheral that can finally works on (not only) LCD and projection screens.
