AA (African American) slang for a person who sells out/betrays another person (or people) for something frivolous, often times intangible for self gratification. The often intangible, frivolous reward is what sets it apart from a Snitch. It comes from C.S. Lewis's tale of "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe," and the name is referring to an event in the book involving the faun/satyr that goes by that name. While it is really Edmund that sells out Mr. Tumnus for candied desserts, his name could be confused with any Edmund or was possibly not memorable enough, as the event is referred to as Tumnus instead.
