Luigi'd (sometimes written as Luigied) is a term used in the video game world to describe when the game offers help to the player. If a game offers to lower difficultly, guide the player, skip a section, or offer other related assistance after the player has failed repeatedly, they are being Luigi'd. The term's inspiration comes from the Nintendo's Super Guide in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, where a computer-controlled Luigi helps the player finish a level that they are struggling to complete.
