This term refers to the extreme lag and latency often present in the PvP portion of every game made by From Software, such as the Dark Souls series and Elden Ring. (Miyazaki being the name of the creator of these: Miyazaki Hidetaka) Mild latency and lag in these types of games are usually bearable and a slight inconvenience, however the moment you're connected to a Host that lives on Mars or from the other side of the universe (and also happen to be a Wi-Fi Warrior) then you'll start seeing some real shit! Your opponent's Character Model will start sliding all over the place while locked in a constant A-Pose and all you can do is just swing your weapon around wildly praying that your hits will connect before the Host can kill you.
