Refers to scenarios where an attacking team in a multiplayer game is unable to push out the defending team up until the final moments of a round, where they decide to regroup and push all at once to try and complete their objective just before the round can end. Although pub pushes can be extremely effective, the attacking team will typically go back to being ineffective until it's time for the next pub push. The term comes from the game Team Fortress 2, where public multiplayer lobbies are referred to as "pubs", though it's also been applied to Overwatch, Battlefield, and other FPS games involving attack/defend modes.
