Webcore, also known as Internetcore, Enacore, and Old Web, is a style of music and an aesthetic influenced by aspects of early 2000s Internet culture. The time period covered by Webcore generally runs from the release of Windows 95 in 1995 to the launch of Windows Vista in 2007. The 1995–2005 era of pixelated visuals, system and application noises, and web design served as inspiration for the look. Internetcore is akin to Weirdcore and Vaporwave in some ways and has found expression through music and animation.
