A mental state in which you are aware of your responsibilities to your family, your community, and to The Higher Power (as you understand Him/Her); by extension, the actions taken to meet those responsibilities. A firm distinction must be made between "sober" and "clean" ("clean" being the abstinence from destructive substances or activities). Sobriety is a developing mindset in which you continually become aware of your life's purpose, and the obligations which will facilitate that purpose. Sobriety is mental and/or spiritual growth, which has no limits (always developing).
