(verb) The act of pretending you are not ghosting someone by continuing to engage in superficial or superficial communication, such as liking their social media posts or sending them occasional messages, without actually committing to any real interaction or communication. Note: Ghostlighting is often used as a way to avoid confrontation or to mislead someone into thinking that a relationship or connection is still active, when in reality the person is being ghosted. It is generally considered to be a dishonest and manipulative behavior.
