I know a lot of people are hating on this town. I understand that there's nothing to do here. They say the school is crappy and has crappy programs. They say the people are really really mean. I've lived here almost my whole life, and it made me feel welcome. Not when I was little, but definitely now. There are people here who will understand, accept and help you accept the broken bits and pieces of you. Yes people are assholes here, but only because the people willing to talk are the ones willing to stab you in the back. If you give the quieter people a chance, they can be the most fun, broken, cheerful people you will ever meet. And yes people act "ghetto" here but not actually that many. Yes, our sport teams suck, but we have so much fun, and I would never regret being in one. The only one worth anything, is volleyball and maybe cross country. The band is incredibly good and our best program is FFA. The music scene here is crap, unless you talk to the kids who spend their weekends and summers outside 24/7. And the restaurants are incredible, not the fast food, the small ones, they are authentic and delicious. I realize no ones going to care or read my side of this because there 4 other veiws going against mine, but I love this town and it was with me through everything, I love it so much.
