Zein is a spice with obscure origins and shape. The taste of Zein is commonly described as sublime. It goes beyond common categories such as "salty", "sweet", "bitter", "sour" or "umami". Those who had the chance to have a taste of it have seen their life change. Can be increasingly found in the finest restaurants of Berlin, i.e. "Zein und Abel", "Zum Zeinbein" and "Zum Zeinheiligen". Zein has recently been spotted in the french region of Alsace, under the name of "Zandale". Might be spreading to yoiur location soon. Don't miss it.
