A relationship (whether sexual or platonic) between a queer black man and queer white man specifically. Garnet is the term used in art to refer to the color that's produced from the mixture of brown and pink together. This term was coined on r/BrownAndPink in December 2022. The creator of the term said that it was created to make it easier to find content of this nature online once the term is popularized instead of having to use terms like “interracial” or vulgar euphemisms such as “BBC” or “BWC”.
