Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, or simply DHMIS, is a British web series and television show. Created in 2011 by Becky Sloan and Joe Pelling, it has three main puppets: Red Guy, Yellow Guy and Duck, and various teachers making them learn about subjects learned in preschool. While on the outside, it may seem like a normal kid's show, each episode transitions into disturbing content, including gore and psychological horror, usually induced by the weird messages of the teachers. It started as a YouTube series, comprising six episodes: Creativity, Time, Love, Computers, Health and Dreams. In September 2022, the creators had announced it would be a television show, broadcasted on the British channel, Channel 4. It also had 6 episodes: Jobs, Death, Family, Friendship, Transport and Electricity. However, it has not been confirmed to have ended yet by the creators.
