Imagine that, every .35 seconds, a bus leaves the station from 1 level to the next and Mario must ride a bus to get to the next level. So every 3-- 0.35 seconds, a bus leaves over and over and over again forever and ever. So when you beat a level, Mario has to wait for the next bus to depart so that means, if he beats a level, if he enters the- the castle right before a bus leaves, then he can get on it and he doesn't have to wait very long. But if he just misses a bus then he has to wait for the next one to leave. And that's how this game works
