"mudd" is a slang term which means "the bottom". It is an acronym which stands for "Motivated Under Deep Distress". The acronym was created during the recent Covid-19 pandemic because of the distressful situation present and the amount of people who were motivated to overcome it. When someone is in a "mudd" mindset, they are at their lowest physically, emotionally, financially, mentally etc. For a person or a group of people to rise from this state of being takes love, faith, endurance, determination and hard work. The "mudd" is where things can begin to change or transform. Sort of like soft clay is before being transformed by a potter's hands.
