The castle of Alfea was built long ago as a place dedicated to educating young fairies and encouraging the spirit of community between those who possess different fairy magics. A hundred years later, the Specialists’ Hall was added, the military division where those who are not fairies—but who are our allies—can be trained in the arts of war. Whether you are a Specialist or a fairy, whether your fairy magic is water, earth, light, mind, technology, fire, or air, today we welcome you to join this ancient tradition! Walk the grounds of Alfea, discover the maze, ramble through the woods (please do not get too close to the Barrier), and begin your journey of self-discovery within these timeless stone halls. SAFETY NOTICE: *Don’t venture near the East Wing, as it is in a state of disrepair. *Don’t touch any of the plants in the greenhouse without Professor Harvey’s direct supervision. Many of these plants are magical or poisonous. Or magically poisonous. *Don’t ask a Specialist to fight with you, as they may take your head clean off. *Don’t underestimate magics you are not familiar with. You may be an Earth Fairy, able to command all growing things in the ground, but a Water Fairy can drown you, and a Light Fairy can blind you. Remember, it’s important to stay respectful of others. Our vision for Alfea is harmony among all.
