Noun (Pejorative): A person, typically a man, who performs hypermasculine traits, mannerisms, or actions with the intent of impressing or intimidating, but are instead perceived as arrogant or an attempt at hiding an insecurity. Marlboro Men will often act stoic and unyielding in inappropriate situations that generally end with an unfavorable outcome. They will also rarely acknowledge their negative situation, often opting to present as indifferent to it. Their performance is meant to emulate the "though guy" archetype.
