For algorithms that aim to give or tell you something you want based on a person's input data, such as likes, shares, interactions. Examples include, social media ads, feed algorithms, song recommendation algorithms. Algorithm anxiety is when a person gets anxious about their inputs to the algorithm as it might give the algorithm the wrong idea. and/or When a person is anxious about what the output of the algorithm is, as they may feel it's 'not them' or how they might be manipulated by it.
