When someone wears a safety pin, it can mean many things. Most commonly it is just a fashion statement, but there are other deeper meanings. The first one is that the person wearing it is a safe space (SAFEty pin) for people. Muslims, Women, Lantinx, POC, Immagrants, Disabled People, LGBTQ People, People Who Are Being/Have Been Abused, ect. They are open ears and open arms. The second meaning is that the person is promising not to commit suicide. Whether or not they've attempted to before, they are trying their best. A third meaning is that the person is very against Donald Trump and all of his opinions.
