A metaphoric word involving SHINee’s Kim Jonghyun that describes death or suicide depending on the context. The point of this word is supposed to narrate seeing the late singer in the afterlife, which could either be in heaven or in an alternate world depending on what they believe in. It could also be called “Jonghyun’s fansign”, “Jonghyun’s meet and greet” or even “Jonghyun’s VIP station.” This word has been used in a now deleted post with the poem “I want to go to a Jonghyun’s concert” by a user on Tumblr (@nekoneck) which describes suicide in a series of metaphors. Despise its dark history, it is now used to describe suicide, typically in sarcasm or it could be used as a replacement of “died” just like how we would say “passed away” or “went up to heaven.” This would make more sense if this is describing a Shawol (a SHINee fan) that passed away, but it could be used for anyone since the feeling of a K-pop idol having a concert in their afterlife may seem pleasant to some.
