A term used to describe a character, usually a man, who has done many awful things—[almost always] without any redemption in canon—but that the fandom is still unapologetically horny for. The connotation of the term is that the person is cute and adorable, like a kitten, even though its usually referring to a 40 year old man who’s committed several war crimes. It’s used in similar practice as “c/sinnamon roll,” “smol bean,” or “he’s baby,” but somewhat more [ironically]. Often, the character in question [experienced] some amount of trauma in their past, for which fans are sympathetic, and that makes them more endearing and easier to forgive.
