A gender label made up by allistic (non-autistic) and neurotypical people on Tumblr who believe gender is a feeling, and therefore can be anything you want it to be. A “xenogender” is said to be any gender identity that falls outside of the concept of male, female, or neutral. The “xenogender” ideology is blatantly ignorant of all the decades worth of studies that prove that gender is neurological and not fake or constructed. It’s also commonly said that Xenogenders help autistic people express themselves, but zero studies show that “Xenogenders” are beneficial to individuals on the autism spectrum. People who identify with made up Xenogenders usually call themselves trans and non-binary as well, when in reality, you are born trans as well as non-binary. Xenogender ideology insists it is a choice.
